General Meeting 01/29/2026

The HDCA held its General Meeting on January 29, 2026, and we extend our sincere appreciation to 3 Nations Brewing for graciously hosting us and to Joe’s Pizza for providing an outstanding meal. The venue and catering were exceptional and contributed to a warm, engaging atmosphere. We were proud to welcome several business leaders from across Historic Downtown Carrollton, whose presence reflected the strong commitment and shared vision driving our community forward.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Mayor Steve Babick for his thoughtful, informative and encouraging remarks. A special thank‑you goes to Jimmy Hsueh, a dynamic new member of the downtown Carrollton business community, whose enthusiastic and informative presentation on the former C2 building highlighted exciting possibilities ahead. With meaningful updates, engaged participation, and a shared sense of momentum, it’s clear that many positive changes are on the horizon for Historic Downtown Carrollton—and the future looks bright, energetic, and full of promise.

We are proud to introduce our newly installed Board, a team bringing fresh vision, renewed focus, and energetic passion to the future of Historic Downtown Carrollton. With strong leadership and a shared commitment to revitalization, collaboration, and community growth, the Board is already moving forward on several exciting initiatives. Many positive changes are coming down the pike, and we are genuinely excited for what lies ahead as we continue building a vibrant, thriving downtown for all who live, work, and visit.
