The Historic Downtown Carrollton Association (HDCA) is seeking passionate, community-minded leaders
to fill three (3) open positions on our Board of Directors.
This is an exciting opportunity to help guide the future of Historic Downtown Carrollton, support local businesses, strengthen community connections, and contribute to initiatives that enhance the vibrancy of our downtown district.

- Are willing to commit the time and energy necessary to serve effectively
Board Members serve a two-year term and are expected to actively participate in meetings, committees, organizational planning, and community events.

- Advocate for the continued growth and success of Downtown Carrollton
- Collaborate with business owners, residents, community leaders, and stakeholders
- Support events, programs, and initiatives that strengthen our historic district
- Make a lasting impact on the community you care about
before you apply
Before accepting a nomination, please ask yourself:
- Can I attend and actively participate in Board and General Membership Meetings?
- Am I willing to dedicate time outside of meetings to Board responsibilities?
- Can I fulfill the attendance and membership requirements throughout my term?
- Will I ensure my membership dues are paid in full by January 31 each year while serving in office?
- Can I place the interests of HDCA above my personal or business interests when making Board decisions?
- Am I prepared to represent HDCA professionally and positively within the community?
If you can confidently answer "yes" to these questions, we encourage you to seek nomination and become part
of the leadership team working to shape the future of Historic Downtown Carrollton.
Nominations will be accepted between August 27 & Sptember 24.
Voting will be held from September 24 through October 29.
In-Person voting will be held on October 29
